Lewis Hamilton said on Thursday he had ignored the controversy about the Mercedes ‘Tyregate’ scandal because he is more concerned about feeling at one with his car in this weekend’s Canadian Grand Prix. The 28-year-old Briton, who won his maiden Formula One race at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in 2007, will be bidding for a fourth career win in Canada in Sunday’s race — and hoping to out-perform his friend and Mercedes team-mate German Nico Rosberg....

According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), AJR Trading issued a voluntary recall on 2,004 units of Advance Hand Sanitizer currently in U.S. distribution. The hand sanitizer is packaged in 480-milliliter bottles at the consumer level, according to the company’s recall statement. “This lot of bio aaa Advance Hand Sanitizer has been tested and meets all appropriate specifications and tests,” the recall statement said. “However, in an abundance of caution, these units are being recalled because of possible presence of methanol in other lots of bio aaa Advance Hand Sanitizer....

Someone decided that, after the servers went down for the full Halo Reach game, they’d try their Halo Reach demo disk and found that matchmaking was still working.
