The goods news is that Halo Infinite is getting more beta test periods this year. 343 Industries did some beta testing last year, but not nearly as much as initially planned. With that in mind, it sounds like progress has been made on the game if there’s more betas to be done. It was definitely disappointing for a lot of Halo fans when the arguably the most coveted launch title for the Xbox Series X was delayed....

Infinite’s first season, Heroes of Reach, has been ongoing since launch and, at five months in length, is slated to be the longest season the game will have. Over on Twitter, 343 Industries Community Manager John Junyszek detailed the changes that the team will be making to Halo Infinite’s Battle Pass progression system. Junyszek stated that the team will be making “targeted tunings” to the system later this week, starting with expanding “Play 1 Game” challenges so that players are consistently rewarded with Battle Pass XP gains. The lack of regular match XP has been one of the main points of contention, which this change should address....
Reddit user Taku_Skellaku recently shared an image of their idea for Halo Infinite emblems and how they should appear on Spartan armor in Halo Infinite. The images take inspiration from the Halo Infinite box art that features the instantly recognizable Master Chief with a 117 emblem on his chest plate. Years ago, Halo games would be partnered up with Mountain Dew for a line of soda called Gamer Fuel which would feature Master Chief on marketing material to promote whatever new flavor Pepsi-Cola rolled out for the upcoming Halo games. Eventually, Microsoft filled the gaps between Halo launches with other games on Gamer Fuel like Forza Motorsport. Along with the launch window, screenshots have also been shared that show off weapons, character customization, scenery, and more. For those not in the know, Halo: The Master Chief Collection PC beta was supposed to begin back in April but was delayed without a new beta date. As unfortunate as this is, it’s worth mentioning that this delay was credited to the complexity of the project, and given that the developers are building it from the ground up as opposed as to a straight-up port, it’s an ambitious project for sure....
