Lewis Hamilton only needs time to find the sweet spot in the set-up for his Mercedes car and rise to the challenge of matching or beating the pace of his team-mate Nico Rosberg, according to team chief Ross Brawn. Furthermore, Kinect Sports developer Rare allegedly has a second Kinect title in development. Bailey recently shared a piece of artwork from a giddy fan depicting Ariel from Disney’s original 1989 animated Little Mermaid film doing that cute little heart hand thing with Bailey’s own take on the character drawn in the same style. The drawing of Bailey’s Ariel appears to be based on some recently leaked Little Mermaid set photos showing her in the iconic burlap outfit that’s apparently making a comeback from the cartoon....

CVG was given some hands-on time with the first three levels of Reach’s new campaign and claimed that – on top of stunning visuals that are allegedly “more fluid than Gears Of War” – the campaign’s Covenant baddies’ artificial intelligence was “simply staggering”. The new A.I. will apparently completely change “a decade of experience and familiarity with the universe”, which is fantastic news for those who thought that the campaign may just lead to the same old song and dance that the previous installments have amounted to....

Within a day, Reach beat Halo 2’s record of unique users on Xbox Live (obviously) and it beat Halo 3’s one-day sales record of $170 million in with over $200 million of its own. While it doesn’t close in on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s single day record of an astonishing $310 million, it does dominate for exclusive title sales and represents the biggest entertainment launch of 2010. Remember, Activision’s Call of Duty plays on all consoles as well as PC....

Now another key developer, Halo Infinite’s Head of Design Jerry Hook, has left 343 Industries. Hook initially joined Microsoft back in 2003, working as a lead program manager for commerce and accounts on Xbox Live. Hook has described himself as an “Xbox Live founding veteran,” due to his work in the early days of the service. Later on in his career, he took on an executive producer role at 343 and is credited for work on Halo 4 and Halo 5....
