At the time of writing, Halo Infinite has a recent positive review score of 43% on Steam, far below the all-time figure of 70%, which is still rather low for what was intended to be Microsoft’s flagship title with the Xbox Series X/S. While the energy sword is a top-tier weapon in Halo’s multiplayer Beta, it certainly isn’t perfect. As the game’s multiplayer continues to evolve with subsequent updates, patches, and seasonal changes, hopefully 343 Industries can come up with a solution for the general lack of counterplays available to those who’ve come face-to-face with an angry Spartan wielding a sword. To put it simply: Halo Infinite’s energy sword is too powerful, and it either needs a little bit of nerfing or for 343 to introduce more ways for players to counter it....

Despite its recognition in gaming circles and the general public, much of the news coming out that potentially affects the future of Halo has been concerning. The possibility that Microsoft could be considering moving on from Halo Infinite is one of the latest examples, as a new survey pointedly asks if the responder is done playing the game and also appears to gauge if 343 Industries has trust among the community to continue the franchise....

Hamilton finished ahead of Max Verstappen and Vettel at Marina Bay Street Circuit, with the German hampered by an ill-judged early pit stop in his bid to close the gap in the standings. It was mainly plain sailing for the Briton, who only came under pressure during a brief period of traffic late in the race. Hamilton was beaming after securing pole on Saturday and was joyous once more on Sunday after a victory he did not expect to be celebrating....
