As announced by 343, Halo 5: Guardians will receive advanced controller customization options that will allow players to adjust the game’s Look Acceleration, Inner Dead Zone, and Outer Dead Zone. When the update goes live, these three functions will remain at their default settings, but players are able to tweak them in the pause menu as they would the button layout or look sensitivity, for example. The two most interesting customization options are the Inner Dead Zone and Outer Dead Zone....

Pre-loading works with both the standard edition and the Digital Deluxe edition – though neither will allow access to the game until 12:01 EDT on the 27th. On Twitter, Schorr went into detail about Halo Infinite’s Forge Mode, its reliance on internet connection, and server usage. The map-baking process in Forge Mode generates a ton of data, and Halo Infinite’s online servers improves the experience by directly handling the data uploading process. Map-baking involves various assets such as lighting, nav mesh, audio, and other forms of necessary data, so the servers speed up the creation of assets....

While some fans can be more antagonistic toward the developers in their calls for change, others are simply hoping for a game they already enjoy to become even better. One fan recently found a detail from Halo 4 that they’d like to see in helmets in Halo Infinite and future games. The leak comes via a now-deleted post on Twitter that featured photos of two unannounced Halo Infinite toys. The surprise is that one of the two toys is a Brute, an enemy faction associated with the Covenant first introduced in Halo 2. 343 Industries has just revealed a roadmap for the content coming to Halo Infinite up until June 2023. This content is divided into two categories – Winter Update and Season 3. Halo Infinite’s Winter Update will run from November 8 to March 7, while Season 3 lasts from March 7 to June 27. Both of them will include new maps, game modes, battle passes, events, and more.
