To begin with, the complaints around Halo Infinite were, to most, justified. Issues stemmed from the pricing of Halo Infinite’s online store, which saw players being charged high prices for even a change of color to their armor. In other areas, a slow battle pass progression, bugs, and glitches were highlighted as other problems within the game. Now, again players’ complaints are revolving around cosmetics, though this time it’s about a much more minor detail....

Halo Infinite, the newest of the Halo games, is due out sometime this year. 343 Industries began rolling out invitations to players to try out the Halo Infinite Multiplayer Flight Servers about two days ago, and everyone is eagerly awaiting the servers to open up. But as the new beta comes closer to be released, one of the higher-ups over at 343 Industries is asking players not to get their hopes up too high....

Recently, it was revealed that Halo Infinite had dropped out of the top 5 most played Xbox games. At the time of writing, it occupies the 6th spot on the list behind Roblox. For comparison, other popular shooters like Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Apex Legends all sit ahead of Halo Infinite. In addition, the latest installment in the Halo series has started to lose players on Steam, as it currently is outside the platform’s top 100 games according to Steam Charts....

Fans watching the Halo Infinite multiplayer footage from E3 noticed an interesting detail about the game’s guns. In the clip, slowed down by Reddit user TheWhiteWizard2004, it shows an enemy player downed with a few pistol shots. In usual Halo fashion, the downed player drops their weapons, and when their gun hits the metal platform they’re standing on, sparks shoot out. It’s a nice touch that shows 343’s heightened attention to detail when compared to previous games in the Halo series....

Halo Infinite will be the first voice of Microsoft first-party games on the newest console generation, but it might end up being Starfield that truly takes things to the next level. Desyncing is an issue that can often occur during online multiplayer games. Essentially, a desync is when something that’s happening on a player’s screen looks completely different from what’s happening, or rather what should be happening, in-game. According to an update post on Halo Waypoint, Community Director Brian Jarrard reassured fans that now that the entire studio is back from holiday vacation it’s devoted even more staff to working on fixing Halo Infinite’s matchmaking issues. Britain’s former world champion Lewis Hamilton had a minor accident on Wednesday during his first day of testing for his new team Mercedes in Spain.
