Reddit user Playdoob recently posted a Halo Infinite video that was edited using the in-game theater mode to show off one of their favorite plays in a match of Oddball. The clip starts off with a player carrying the skull in Oddball being defeated with a frag grenade from a player on the other side who then retrieves the skull. After picking up the item, this violetSpartan retreats inside a nearby building, one of the spawns on the Live Fire map....

Halo Infinite was originally announced at E3 2018. At the time, 343 had acknowledged its missteps with the story of Halo 5: Guardians and vowed to get it right for Halo 6. Clearly, the studio took some time to step back and plan a new direction for the next entry, as Halo 5 was released in 2015 and Halo Infinite was not even announced until three years later. It appeared that 343 knew what to do and was headed in the right direction, with a renewed focus on Master Chief as the protagonist....

Although only a few months remain until the game is supposed to launch, fans still know next to nothing about Halo Infinite, especially in regards to who they’re supposed to shoot this time around. However, a new teaser video released on the official Halo Twitter page suggests that, whoever they fight, the Banished will be among them. According to Borman, the Halo Mega Bloks game was in development at n-Space for roughly 10 months before Microsoft pulled the plug on the project. It’s unclear why Microsoft decided to cancel the Halo Mega Bloks project, but the comments from Bonnie Ross seem to indicate that it was just an experimental idea, not necessarily something the company was dedicated to seeing through. Thanks to the new footage posted by Borman, fans can judge for themselves whether or not the Halo Mega Bloks project was worthwhile....

As shown by both the official 20th Century Studios and Halo Infinite Twitter accounts yesterday evening, Free Guy star Ryan Reynolds wasn’t the only one turning heads at the premiere. The tactical offensive vehicle was placed right in the center of the red carpet for photo ops. Lewis Hamilton on Saturday roared to his first pole position for Mercedes, in a qualifying session at the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai that was dominated by tyre strategy. The Briton, who has been struggling with an allergy and went home early from the track on Thursday, left it late in the final session to grab pole ahead of Kimi Raikkonen of Lotus, the winner last month in Australia....

Vettel missed out on the chance for a first victory of the Formula One season on Sunday when, from the lead, he ran wide and came back on track via the grass at turn four in Montreal. He narrowly avoided contact with Hamilton, and both drivers just missed the wall as the German remained in the lead. But the incident was promptly investigated by race stewards, who subsequently gave a furious Vettel time penalty of five seconds for unsafely re-joining the track and forcing his rival to take evasive action....
