Halsey, a pop artist whose album Purpose was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2016 Grammy Awards, posted images of herself cosplaying as Overwatch’s mech-riding D.Va to Instagram and Twitter Thursday saying “another day another game.” In response the official Overwatch Twitter account commented a gif from one of the character’s emotes where she draws a pixelated heart in the air.

D.Va is not the first cosplay Halsey has posted to her social media since coronavirus pandemic lockdowns have begun. A number of her costumes are centered around anime, with Halsey’s profile picture on both Instagram and Twitter coming from the classic 90’s anime Sailor Moon.
Recently actress and former mixed martial artist Ronda Rousey posted a cosplay dressed as Sonya Blade, the character whom she voices in NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 11.
Overwatch is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
