One cool feature of Halo Waypoint will be the milestones. Milestones are little awards that unlock after a certain amount of achievements have been unlocked in all three of the current Halos on Xbox 360 (i.e. Halo Wars, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST). There are a total of 40 milestones in Halo Waypoint, each one levels your profile up, so 40 milestones equals….. 40 levels! (I needed help from my 10 year old brother for that one). There are a total of 3950 achievement points that can be unlocked with all three games and DLC, but you will only have to unlock roughly 60% of those to reach level 40.

All of this seems very cool if you’re a Halo fan, but what more could they cram in there? Well, you can also look forward to episodes of the upcoming Halo anime titled Halo Legends to be available for streaming when they release.
All of these features and more will be available to Xbox Live Gold Members and Silver Members, unfortunately this will only be available to Silver Members until November 26th when it will be locked to them, in which case they will have to upgrade to gold to access it again. Look forward to Halo Waypoint hitting Xbox Live on November 3rd, 2009.
What do you think of Halo Waypoint? Is it a cool feature? Or will you stick with the Metal Gear Solid portal on the PS3?
