Technically this achievement can be earned in any of the Halo Infinite multiplayer game modes, so players can do regular Quickplay, Big Team Battle, or even Bot Bootcamp. What they need to do is go on a 15 player kill streak, which earns them “Running Riot” and in turn a Mythic medal. After going on a 15 player killstreak in any of the aforementioned playlists, the Slaying with Style achievement should pop for Halo Infinite players.

It doesn’t matter what match type players load into, either. The Slaying with Style achievement can be earned in Slayer, Capture the Flag, Oddball, Stronghold, etc., as long as players fulfill the requirement of getting 15 kills with no deaths. It may arguably be even easier to get the achievement in objective-based modes like Oddball or Stronghold, as that way players always know a general idea of where the enemy players are going to be.
It’s possible that 343 will eventually make it so achievements can’t be earned in Bot Bootcamp, so Halo Infinite players should keep that in mind. However, at the time of this writing, Bot Bootcamp is definitely the easiest way for Halo Infinite players to unlock the Slaying with Style achievement, as the bots are much easier to kill than human players and it’s also less likely that players will die against them.
Bot Bootcamp is technically a matchmade activity, so it’s possible that players unlocking achievements in it is by design. It’s also possible to complete Halo Infinite Battle Pass challenges in Bot Bootcamp, so anyone struggling with those should keep that in mind as well, with the caveat that it’s always possible 343 will update the game so that players have to be fighting against human-controlled opponents instead.
343 Industries will release numerous updates for Halo Infinite over the course of its lifespan, with content like Forge mode and Campaign co-op on the docket for late 2022. Halo Infinite is meant to be a long-lasting live-service game, so fans can expect plenty of changes in future.
Halo Infinite launches December 8 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
