343 Industries has confirmed that the Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai event is going away on Tuesday, November 30 at 10am PT. The event features its own challenges for Halo Infinite to complete along with special Yoroi Samurai armor to unlock. Some Halo Infinite fans will likely be sad to see Fracture: Tenrai event and the Fiesta playlist go, but on the bright side, they’ll be able to revisit it at least five more times between now and the end of Season 1.

The Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai event is set up so players can’t unlock all of its cosmetics in its first week of availability. Instead players will have to show back up when the event returns over the next six months or so to keep hacking away at challenges and unlock the rest of its cosmetics. This decision has proven controversial, and it’s possible 343 Industries will shake things up in response to fan feedback, but it has made no indication that it has any plans of doing that just yet.
Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai Event Dates
Week 2 - January 4, 2022 to January 10, 2022 Week 3 - February 4, 2022 to February 7, 2022 Week 4 - February 22, 2022 to March 2, 2022 Week 5 - March 19, 2022 to April 5, 2022 Week 6 - April 19, 2022 to April 26, 2022
The Halo Infinite Fracture: Tenrai event certainly has its fans, but its progression has also been the source of criticism from the community. Similarly to how Halo Infinite fans are frustrated with the Battle Pass, they haven’t been happy about how rewards have been doled out or that they have to play the same event multiple times to unlock all of its content. And since Fracture: Tenrai is goign to be fairly consistently available anyway, popping up multiple times per month, some fans are wondering why it needs to be removed at all.
Halo Infinite progression needs work in general, and there will no doubt be changes coming to the game. Whether or not those changes apply to the Fracture: Tenrai event remains to be seen, but fans will see how it all plays out in the months ahead.
Halo Infinite launches on December 8 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
